Sadly, most of us have been there … frustrated by the long wait time to see our GP. In some cases, we have even been known to feel guilty for making the call for a regular check-up.

Even before the COVID pandemic, many NHS patients were waiting far longer than should be acceptable to see a consultant or receive treatment, resulting in a devastating outcome for many.
